The latest rumour.. Flames sign Jay Bouwmeester and then hand over Dion Phaneuf for Dany Heatley of Ottawa.
I really don't like it. Dion has so much potential they got to give him another chance under Brent Sutter's defensive ways.. And Heatley? What is so great about him that they would rather have over Mike Cammalleri?

debateably good trade; based on whether last year was a trend for dion or an anomaly (i'm not sure if you noticed but dion was TER-RI-BLE). personally, i'd give the kid another year but heatley (as opposed to cammalleri) is an elite NHL winger; a shoo-in for the olympic team.

its a tough call. asmuch as I like Dion s his potential, I'm begining to think he's injury prone. In '08 he had an injured foot, and again this year he was hurt. Maybe he can't handle a full NHL season. He might be another Denis Gauthier
